Coffee & Freshness

When is your coffee roasted?

Our coffee is roasted in small batches to help keep it fresh and consistent. We want every bag to arrive tasting the way it was meant to.

Do you offer whole bean and ground coffee?

Yes. Most of our coffees are available as whole bean or in different grind options so you can brew coffee the way you like it best.

Which grind should I choose?

If you are not sure where to start, here is a quick guide:

Coarse — French press and cold brew
Medium — Drip coffee makers and pour over
Fine — Espresso machines
Whole Bean — Best for freshness if you grind at home

How long does coffee stay fresh?

Coffee is usually best within a few weeks after opening. To keep it tasting its best, store it sealed in a cool and dry place away from sunlight.

Should I refrigerate or freeze my coffee?

We usually recommend storing coffee at room temperature in an airtight container. Refrigerators can introduce moisture and affect the flavor over time.

Shipping & Orders

How long does shipping take?

Most orders are processed within a few business days before shipping out. Delivery times can vary depending on location, but we always try to get your coffee to you as quickly as possible.

Where do you ship from?

All orders are fulfilled and shipped within the United States.

Do you offer free shipping?

From time to time we may run free shipping promotions. If there is an active offer, it will automatically appear at checkout.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your order ships, you will receive tracking information by email.

What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?

Please reach out as soon as possible, and we will do our best to make it right.

How does Subscribe & Save work?

Subscriptions let you automatically receive your favorite coffees on a schedule that works for you while saving on recurring orders.

Can I cancel or pause my subscription?

Yes. You can pause, skip, change, or cancel your subscription whenever you need to.

How often can I receive coffee?

You can choose the delivery frequency that fits your routine best.

Can I change my coffee later?

Absolutely. Coffee preferences change, and your subscription can too.

Coffee Questions

What is the difference between blends and single-origin coffees?

Single-origin coffees come from one specific region or farm and usually highlight flavors unique to that area.

Blends combine coffees from different regions to create a balanced and consistent flavor.

Which coffee is best for espresso?

Our Blonde Blend was created to work especially well for sweet espresso, though a lot of coffees can make great espresso depending on your taste.

Which roast is the strongest?

Darker roasts usually have a bolder flavor, while lighter roasts tend to highlight brighter and more delicate tasting notes.

Which coffee is best for cold brew?

Our cold brew artisanal blend works especially well with smooth medium and dark roasts, but trying different coffees can lead to some really great results.

It is a reminder to start your mornings with intention, comfort, and presence in whatever way feels right to you.

Do you donate to charity?

Yes. We donate $1 from every order to The Trevor Project to help support LGBTQ+ youth and the important mental health and crisis support services they provide.

Are you a large coffee company?

No. Morning Rites is an independent and growing coffee brand focused on quality coffee and creating a customer experience that feels personal and genuine.
